37.2 Guide
Paris Fall Favorites
From shoots across Paris, NYC, and Barcelona, to Eat Photos, we blinked and 2024 is already drawing to a close. It’s been a busy back-to-school season, which saw the 37.2 Family get bigger as we welcomed the fabulous Hélène Manche to the team. As we hate to gatekeep, we wanted to share the things that have brought us joy, inspired us, kept us fit and healthy, and where we have been letting our hair down with our nearest and dearest.
Le Bal
This brilliant photography exhibition titled “Lines and Bodies” by Japanese photographer Yasuhiro Ishimoto runs was just extended until 22nd December and is a definite must-see. Over 150 prints are presented, focusing on the first decades of his work, between Chicago and Japan. A true feat for the eyes to discover, oscillating between the formal approach of the New Bauhaus with the quintessence of Japanese aesthetics.
La Belle Epoque
The unofficial 37.2 cantine, an all-time favorite for any celebration (or any occasion for that matter)! Our favorite tables are tucked away towards the back of the restaurant where the light is perfectly dimmed. That is whilst we patiently wait for the weather to be warm enough to set up camp out on the terrace in the late-summer nights. The food is simple and delicious (don’t skip the chocolate mousse and yes, indulge in the bread, it’s out of this world), and incredible cocktails will keep you fueled all night long. We highly recommend the margaritas and dirty martinis, or give carte blanche to the sexy barman, he never disappoints.
Landline
This concept store is our go-to shopping destination for all occasions. Caroline, the very friendly Franco-American owner (along with her equally as friendly store helper, family dog Buster), offers a beautiful curation of homeware, soaps, kitchen tools, writing accessories, eco-friendly toys, handmade clothes... Everything is plastic free and sourced in France or in Europe: the perfect encounter between quality, utility and timeless design.
Osteria Goto
This small Venetian inspired cicchetti-style restaurant in the 11th arrondissement is a new found gem. The restaurant’s few tables are set close to each other in true Parisian and Venetian style, the team is incredibly welcoming, the menu changes regularly based on seasonal favourites and the natural wine list is impeccable. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, everything you’d want for a cosy dinner on a dark fall night.
Galerie Miranda
We love this book shop and gallery owned by the wonderful Miranda Salt, long-time agency friend, located in the 10th. Miranda’s distinctive eye shines through her incredible selection of photography books and prints.
Comets Café
This small, independent, artisan coffee and record shop in the heart Charonne just reopened after a fresh refurb. They serve an amazing flat white and homemade baked goods, alongside a perfectly curated selection of records from Japanese ambient to indie sounds and jazz.
Jivamukti Yoga
This yoga studio and teaching school has an avid following for a reason. A spiritually charged and physically challenging practice, simply the best yoga class in Paris. The studio often welcomes guest teachers from other Jivamukti schools in the world, an incredible opportunity to learn from international teachers so it’s worth checking their weekly schedule for class listings.
