Antoine Henault
Biography
French photographer Antoine Henault, based in Paris, creates images that explore the delicate dialogue between people and their environments. His work evokes a quiet, sensory poetry where light, landscape, and emotion coexist in subtle harmony.
A self-taught artist, Antoine’s visual language draws inspiration from painters and photographers such as Saul Leiter, Jacques Henri Lartigue and Edward Hopper, while also being deeply shaped by the digital visual culture of his generation. Growing up surrounded by nature, he developed an instinctive sensitivity to color, texture, and atmosphere, elements that continue to guide his practice today.
His first monograph, Insolations, was published by 37.2 Éditions alongside his exhibition at the Eugène Delacroix National Museum in 2022. His second book, In India, also published by 37.2 Éditions, continues his exploration of light, place, and human presence.
