Having completed his military service as a photographer, Fred Meylan became a report for Sygma Agency.

He soon chose to focus his work on portraiture photography working with Monica Belluci, Uma Thurman and Pénélope Cruz amongst others. Meylan turned to fashion photography working with several acclaimed French, Italian and American department stores, whilst shooting music videos and commercials at the same time.

In 2000, he embarked on a personal photography project, depicting deformations of the human body. His work was exhibited in 2001 and 2006 at the Galerie Laurent Strouk in Paris, and at Opera Gallery in New York.

Acclaimed in the fashion industry for his incredible lifestyle imagery, Fred Meylan excels in capturing women’s beauty in the present moment.

Fred has collaborated with global houses across all industries including Cartier, Clarins, Ba&sh, Lancaster, Bucherer, Nike, Lacoste, Eric Bompard, Pablo, Galeries Lafayette, Ofée, Majestic filatures and Peugeot. He works in close collaboration with Zadig & Voltaire, spearheading all global campaigns since the brand’s inception.

Fred Meylan has his own studio, rue Saint-Honoré in Paris’ 1st arrondissement.
