" Summer 2019 on a beach on the Côte d’Azur. I observe people ; I remember my childhood holidays and get lost in this moment of time. I then notice the complete uniqueness of the beach. People don’t change there. We don’t know where they come from, their origins, their nationality or social backgrounds. These photographs could have been taken in 1975, as they could have been taken today. There is a very specific uniformity that doesn’t exist anywhere else. A joy or general ennui, a return back to childhood, to innocence." Romain Sellier.
